Invertebrates
Assassin bugs are named after their habit of hiding in ambush for their prey.
What is an Invertebrate?
Invertebrates do not have an internal skeleton and backbone but a hard exoskeleton on the outside. The top layer is known as the cuticle.
Invertebrates make up around 98% of all animal species in the world.
