Parties for 4 - 14 year olds!
Everyone loves a day at the Zoo, so why not a party? Adelaide Zoo's Party Animals packages are a great way to celebrate a special birthday!
Who can have a Birthday Party at the Zoo?
Adelaide Zoo ‘Party Animals’ birthday parties are for groups of 10 – 20 children, ages 4 – 14 years old, plus adults.
The package includes:
- A fully catered birthday party.
- Hosted tour of the zoo for 1.5 hours.
- A special tour of the Panda exhibit.
- A visit to your child’s favourite Adelaide Zoo animal.
- A free feeding of the native animals at the Kid’s Zoo.
- Party bags including party hats and special gifts for each child.
- Invitation template to send to all your guests.
- Zoo Shop gift voucher (for the Birthday Child).
- Discounted group photo.
If your child is Zoos SA Member you will get all of the above, plus:
- a complimentary ice cream cake
- a complimentary group photo
When can I have my party?
Saturdays and Sundays, all year round! After your party, you are free to explore the zoo.
- 11.30am – 1.00pm (11.15am arrival time)
- 1.30pm – 3.00pm (1.15pm arrival time)
How much does it cost?
| Children | $30 per child. There must be a minimum of 10 paying children. Children under 4 years old are $18 (catering only). Child members of Zoos SA pay $18 (catering only). |
| Adults | $20 per supervising adult (non-member). There must be a minimum of one supervising adult per 10 children. |
| $26 per extra adult (non-members) | |
| FREE entry for adult members |
Lunch platters are available for adults (min of 4 adults required) at $10.00 per head. For groups over 30 people in total, a second host is provided and a $40 surcharge will apply.

Being a mother of four young children it can become difficult to find new and exciting venues every year to celebrate birthdays. From the time we arrived at the zoo until the very end of the party, Alexis and her friends were made to feel so special, they enjoyed every minute.
I must make a special mention to our tour and party host for the day, Jess, she was great fun, answered all of the children’s questions and had a fantastic sense of humor.
One of the highlights of the party was the private viewing time with the Panda’s, the children had an uninterrupted view which was great as last time we saw the Panda’ it had to be on dads shoulders to get a good look.
From the scrumptious food supplied by All Leisure to the bags of food given out to the children to feed the animals in the children’s zoo, the whole event was unforgettable and was talked about for days.
I would highly recommend the “Party Animals” party to anyone who is looking for a well organized and highly enjoyable event that will be remembered for years to come!
