Wilde Life
Hilarious Study of a Truly Wilde Species
Posturing peacocks, adolescent chicks and anxious mother hens will soon feature in a unique way at the Zoo, when the witty satire Wilde Life performs here as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
The show’s cast don truly spectacular plumage, to mimic the mating habits of a now extinct species – the Victorian Upper class. Woven with one-liners from the era’s most grand old bird, Oscar Wilde, the play is a humorous examination a la Attenborough of the London Breeding season.
Santos Conservation Centre will host this ornithological comedy for five special performances from March 16 – 18. Tickets, $15 - $25, are available online now at the Adelaide Fringe website.
