Registering with the Sunday Mail City-Bay Office
If you haven't done so already, you will still need to officially register your participation in the event by visiting www.city-bay.org.au. There will be a small registration fee payable to the Sunday Mail City-Bay, depending on how far you are planning to walk or run.
Fundraising for Zoos SA
If you're going to all that trouble of walking or running for 12km, why not go that extra step and do some fundraising to help Zoos SA in their mission to save the endangered species of Black-footed Rock Wallaby (Warru) in SA!
There are less than 200 individual Warru left in the wild so it's vital that Zoos SA continues it's work in the field, including captive breeding, cross-fostering and research.
With a little help from City-Bay Fun Run partners Everyday Hero, you can fundraise for Zoos SA to continue saving the Warru just by heading to www.everydayhero.com.au/zoos_sa_team_wild
You can either make a donation direct to Zoos SA's fundraising page or you can create your own personalised online fundraising page.
In just minutes, you can select Zoos SA as your chosen charity, upload images and inspirational words and build your own page so you can raise vital funds. Once you are happy with it, you can approach your supporters by emailing them the unique link of your webpage. Check it out by visiting www.everydayhero.com.au
Lastly...
You'd better start training! We thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you at the Zoos SA marquee for your cooked breakfast at the finish line. Good luck!
