Zookeepers provide daily animal feeds and keeper talks. This gives visitors the opportunity to interact with a knowledgeable person and learn more about the species.

Animals in the Children's Zoo may be fed with animal food, available from the Children's Zoo gatekeeper at the following times: 10am - 12 noon and 2pm - 4pm. There is a total feeding ban in all other areas.
