Information for Teachers
The AZES provide a range of programs to help teachers provide fun, interesting and educational experiences both at the Zoo and at your school. These programs are for students of all ages, ranging from Kindergarten through to Secondary on a variety of topics. Look at the list of AZES programs to find out more.
Programs at the Zoo may be self-directed or may involve input from an Educational Officer. If you are planning a self-directed Zoo visit, you may like to download one of our Self-directed Trails.
All Adelaide Zoo Education programs have been reviewed in light of the Australian Science Curriculum, and programs have been deleted, created and adapted to better support ACARA. Further review will follow release of the Australian Geography Curriculum. Details and links are shown in the document below:
