In the wild, animals face many issues that threaten their survival on a daily basis that their relatives in the zoo don’t have to deal with. From habitat loss, to poaching and the illegal trades, animals in the wild have an uphill battle to continue to exist.
By us going MAD, together we can make a HUGE difference ensure there will always be these animals in the wild. Taking action now is the best chance that it will still be there for you and others to see.

MAD for Rhinos
By selling beaded items made by the Samburu Woman of Northern Kenya, YOU will GO MAD by providing them with an income to give food, health and education to their families. The profit from all beads sold will provide wages and life insurance for Rangers to protect the wildlife and 20 Black Rhinos that will soon be re-introduced into Northern Kenya, where there were 20,000 just 50 years ago and now they are local extinct.

- Contact us to negotiate return all unsold beaded items and money raised. Money can be kept as cash or changed into a cheque addressed to 'Monarto Zoo'

MAD for Chimps
Every mobile phone contains the metal ‘coltan’ which is illegally mined from chimpanzee habitat in the forests of Congo. YOU will GO MAD by collecting and recycling old mobile phones so we can donate $2 for every phone you collect to The Jane Goodall Institute on your behalf, to look after orphaned primates that have lost their homes and families due to illegal mining and the bush meat trade.

MAD for Carnivores
Collect as many 10 cent recyclables and help to give students in Zambia and Zimbabwe an opportunity to learn about conservation and how to protect the carnivores and other wildlife they live with. For every 150 cans or fruit boxes you collect, YOU will GO MAD by sponsoring 1 student to attend 1 full day of conservation education in one of the following projects:

- Cash in the recyclables at a depot. The money can be changed into a cheque addressed to 'Monarto Zoo' or kept as cash
