Wildlife Careers Day (Yrs 10 - 12)

Wednesday 23rd May 2012

Come and find out about what careers and jobs are available in the zoo industry as we give students a broad understanding of working in a conservation organisation.

This program is offered once a year as a full day program of panels with professionals from various departments, open discussion times and insights on how to get into their field choice. Opportunities to see the zoo on a private tour is included in the program.

The 2012 Wildlife Careers day will be held on Wednesday 23rd May. Information and application forms will be sent to schools at the beginning of Term 2.

Research Project Days (Senior Secondary students)

9th May and 22nd August 2012

A new program in 2012.

With increasing demand from students for information on research and personal projects, Research Project Days will provide an opportunity to creatively meet student demands. These days will entail responding to questions, personal requests, professional insights and viewing of the zoo.

One Research Project Day will be offered each semester. We will continue to respond to student requests outside of the Research Project Days in the format of a conference call only. Due to time limitations and demand, no detailed answers will be provided to email questions.
