The Zoo is open from 9.30am - 5pm every day of the year, except in the case of extreme weather. (See note below).

Please note: Entry into Monarto Zoo is not permitted after 3:15pm

First safari bus tour 10.30am - last tour leaves at 3.30pm. Tours run at regular intervals throughout the day. More information on tours can be found on the Tours page.

Zu-Loop Shuttle commences from 11:30 am.

Keeper Talks commence from 12:30 pm.

Some activities are presented by our keeper staff. Please note that due to weather or animal management considerations, some talks may be cancelled without notice. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Note: If the forecast temperature for Monarto is 40 degrees or above Monarto will be closed. View the forecast for Monarto.

Group Bookings
For groups of 15 or more people with their own bus. Pease note that any size group without their own bus will be required to pay general admission prices.

Bookings need to be made at least two weeks in advance.
