Monarto Zoo offers many unique experiences, catering for corporate functions, private parties and wedding receptions.

Facilities at the Zoo include the award winning visitors centre offering informal cafe style dining for up to 60 people and the Waterhole Function Centre on the edge of Africa with a capacity of 100 people seated or 220 people for cocktails. There are also a number of other outstanding and exciting outdoor areas available.

Catering at Monarto Zoo can vary from a stylish BBQ through to high quality formal dining experiences. We can tailor a package to suit your needs or you can choose from one of the many online menu packages.

Events at Monarto Zoo are truly memorable, offering the best in dining coupled to outstanding wildlife experiences. There are many opportunities to enhance your special occasion with a range of tours, talks and the  Zu-Loop and Waterhole experiences.

Amazing!!! Great food, relaxed and unique venue, warm and highly professional people. Highly recommend the keeper talk and the best place for kids. Loved it in every way. If its cold weather, keep guest numbers to no more than 65 and make use of great space outside if more.

We had an amazing time! Everyone was talking about how great the food was, and how different and refreshing having the wedding at the zoo was. The staff were on top of everything, so all Trevor and I had to do was enjoy ourselves, and mingle with the guests. For the last few months I have been telling everyone that we’re having the wedding at Monarto Zoo, and now I’ll be telling everyone how great it was. Thanks again, we’ll definitely be back there for our first anniversary next year.

Cameron and I wanted to send a very big thank you to you for our wedding reception held at Monarto yesterday. The staff were all fantastic and so professional, they continually met and exceeded our expectations and needs. The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone commented on and enjoyed their meals and it all went down very well :) We were so impressed with the quality of service provided by Red Jam and will continue to recommend you in the future. We had our wedding and reception at Monarto Zoo in April 2010 and found the experience absolutely fantastic. The guests and ourselves had a wonderful time. The food was amazing and we can't thank Natalie enough for all the organising she did. Highly recommend.
