Opening Hours

Monarto Zoo is open from 9.30am - 5pm (last entry at 3pm) every day of the year, except if the forecast temperature for Monarto is 40 degrees or above, in which case the zoo will be closed. 

Monarto Zoo is easily a full day experience.  We recommend you arrive early to make the most of your visit.  A minimum of 4-5 hours is recommended.

Zu-loop shuttles to wildlife viewing platforms run at regular intervals throughout the day. Keeper Presentations commence from 11.05 am.

Some activities are presented by our keeper staff. Please note that due to weather or animal management considerations, some talks may be cancelled without notice.
