Safari Tours

A choice of tours are included in your entry fee. The tours will take you past a world of environments including the Asian Steppes and Grasslands, the African Plains and Northern Africa.

There are two types of tours.

Availability on both tours cannot be guaranteed. Waiting periods will be experienced during busy times.

Children under 4 will be required to sit on parents lap during bus tours.

Zu-loop Shuttle

The Zu-loop shuttle service departs the Visitor Centre every 35 minutes and operates daily from 11.35am weekdays and 11.00 am on weekends. The Zu-loop shuttle enables you to get on and off the bus at a variety of wildlife viewing platforms including, Giraffe, Rhino, Cheetah, Lion & African Painted Dogs. This is an alternative way of experiencing the Zoo without going on one of the structured tours. The walking track network can be incorporated with the Zu-loop service for those visitors wishing to explore under their own steam.
