The most highly anticipated event of the zoo calendar is back and a night not to be missed: Zoos SA Gala 2020.

Join us for a night of glamour and entertainment and help ensure the ongoing protection of some of the world’s most incredible animals!

Thanks to the generous support of previous gala attendees and our wider zoo community, we’re closer than ever to realising our dream of bringing Southern White Rhinos to Australia.

But in 2020, we’re raising the bar.

Because it’s not just rhinos that are in trouble. Giraffe, Lions, Wallabies, Painted Dogs, Orange-bellied parrots. They’re all disappearing before our eyes.

That’s why we’re working harder than ever to bring them back through a range of uplifting and impactful projects. With your help, we can secure a future for not only these special animals but for species around the world.

Join us for the 2020 Zoos SA Gala with MC Australian comedian and presenter Mick Molloy at the iconic William Magarey Room at Adelaide Oval for a night jam-packed with entertainment. Live, silent auctions and raffles will be on offer.

Eat, drink, dance, with the knowledge you’re making a real difference.

Will we see you there?

How are you helping?

We’re constantly working towards providing a better future for the animals that call our sites home and those around the planet.

Thanks to you, we’ve spent the past four years recreating savannah-like grasslands and dense bush so future animals who call our new 560-hectare Wild Africa precinct home will live comfortably in a habitat that feels just like their native Africa.

What’s more? Monarto Safari Park’s Director recently met some of the Southern White Rhinos that will eventually call Australia home thanks to our generous rhino ambassadors and the funds raised at our previous galas. Plus, our Rhino Quarantine and Management Centre at Monarto Safari Park is almost complete.

But that’s not all.

Your support will help us finish these exciting projects, among others, and will also go towards vital breeding programs for animals like the critically-endangered Orange-bellied Parrot and the fascinating African Painted Dog. You’ll also help us to educate others about the importance of wildlife and spread the message of conservation to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
