Campaigning with Faith

Reminiscing on October’s successful campaigning and on how unbelievably far we have all come in a short amount of time, exhilaration and readiness overcame me – I couldn’t wait to campaign. With a target goal of 75K, we have raised 50K heading into our next stint of story telling.
Celia was a hero, organising each of our pick ups and driving us coolly to Monarto. The sales were slow and I knew they were because I constantly compared the sales to October’s and additionally, the day was monotonous which resulted in my slight disappointment. When Emma came to visit, she was full of energy and was listing different ideas already to improve the sales this month getting me back to the positive energy I began with.
Our resilience that cold grey day, we were rewarded with the opportunity to meet Imani (Faith), the rhino calf, as she symbolises the restoration of Faith to humanity. The keeper talked with such passion for them and was ultimately kind to spare her time and even recognise the hard work of our campaign.
Let the sky grey as much as it wants and let the breeze be as cold as it can be but let’s stay strong and resilient, becoming warmth and light, and continue to have FAITH. ?

Thank you so much to everyone that recognises our hard work and for cheering us on, it truly lights the fire inside of us! ?
