In the discovery program this year, one of my electives was education. On the training day we followed along one of the Zoocation programs. We started the day by meeting outside Gate 3 with the kids and then got a briefing to how the day would progress. Throughout the day we followed around the kids and helped keep the group together, also keeping them excited for what was to come next. For lunch we separated from the group and talked about what had happened so far. After lunch they put a movie on and for the children who didn’t want to watch the movie we played lego with them and answered some of their questions. We ended the day with the children at 3 O’clock.

In conclusion the education learning day was interesting and filled with different kids and experiences.
