It’s amazing how trusting people can be when they’re suspended 15 metres above the ground and just a little bit stuck. Along with that, the 2 years of workmen together prior may have played a part.
Two years ago, the YATZ program started, all bright eyed and bush tailed, the 7 of us that now make up the MATZ crew had no idea we would ever get the opportunities that we are getting now. This is the first year of MATZ for me, but the people around me are no strangers.
We have accomplished some amazing things as a group, and with YATZ. We all have our strengths in certain fields, having a better understanding of more knowledge in some fields or skills, but the cool thing about being a part of the MATZ crew, our individual strengths become the strength of the entire group. Our weaknesses; well they almost drop out of view as we all work together, supporting those who struggle and encouraging them to succeed.
Quite possible my favourite part of the MATZ crew is the face that as a group, I think it would be damn hard to stop us from accomplishing something we have our sights on.
