On the 31st of January the mentor team visited the ‘Mega Adventure Park’, located at West Beach, and tackled the epic team work challenge. This involved introductory mini games to promote and develop our team work skills, climbing the high ropes course through the multiple levels and collecting puzzle pieces to eventually unlock a treasure chest. Manoeuvring around the course at such heights was challenging but it was our personal drive and surrounding support which enable all of us to complete the challenge.
Our ability to work as a team was really highlighted, along with our constant support and encouragement for members whom were not comfortable with heights. All seven mentors were able to challenge themselves in some form and this was evident when we all took a leap of faith off the 20m tower to return to ground (of course we were harnessed in). It was an amazing experience and it really cemented our relationships and trust in each other, and I personally can not wait to explore these new found friendships and conquer the world together.
