Quiz Night Extravaganza

Stress was felt by everyone in the group as the night neared, we needed this night to be a successful, entertaining and memorable for our supporters attending….

We had a rocky start, we had some technical difficulties and our eftpos machine deciding not to work added to our anxiety levels, but in the heat of the moment we preserved and kept moving guests in and through to their tables for the night. We knew we could only go up from here.

In true MATZ fashion we pulled it together (at the last minute) and put on a show for all! The venue looked incredible, with the African theme really creating the atmosphere we wanted – the life sized animals defiantly added that ‘WOW’ factor!

We each became more confident in our roles as the night went on, with our MC and Quiz Master providing excellent commentary for the evening (And even a dance!). Raffle ticket collectors, scorers and silent auction coordinators were in high demand throughout the nights intervals scurrying around the venue addressing all our guests and supporters..

I’m still in shock about how successful our night was, I even woke up the next morning is disbelieve thinking it was all a dream. I’m beyond grateful for our supporters of the night and throughout the Tisamale campaign without your smiles and encouraging nods and belief Tisamale would’ve never been the same. Together we’ve made dreams come true!

We raised a phenomenal $11,231.05, which meant we were only $3,000 away from our final target!
