Reflecting on 2018

This year I was grateful to be one of the four original YATZ to return as a YATZ for my senior year at school. As you all know, year 12 is a stressful year. But YATZ allowed me to find a way to direct my school stresses in a positive way. All the frustrations over tests, assignments and due dates motivated me to collaborate with my YATZ family to work extremely hard on our hands on work. Not only did YATZ allow me to find peace in year 12, but it also allowed me to feel more positive and resilient. This was a big life saver in year 12. And for this I am forever thankful! This was all thanks to the strong support I received from everyone involved in the YATZ program. So I urge all of you entering year 12 to find a way to direct your stress and become more optimistic, as I know it really helped me. So thank you YATZ for helping me to complete year 12 (I couldn’t have done it without you)! And thank you to year 12 for giving me motivation to helping the team conquer rigorous hands on work.
