Stone wall success

We were then shown the last of the hands on activities for the day, through which we were able to continue building on our knowledge of teamwork, decision making and awareness of the others in the group. We were all particularly proud of our neat little stone wall, rocking out to some classic tunes in true YATZ fashion as we built. I’m sure we’ll all be back to visit our contributions as the year progresses, undoubtedly reminiscing upon the times when we still occasionally forgot our name badges, or our lunches, or our hats….oh well, as Wally says, these moments are lessons after all.

As the day drew to a close, we all loaded back onto the busses and were lucky enough to meet the two new chimp members that had been integrated into Monarto’s pre-existing group. More tired, dirtier and happier than before, we all made our way back home on the bus, singing at the top of our lungs as we went
