Tisamale Event Coordinators (TEC)

Its no secret now that the Tisamale Global Exchange was a phenomenal success.

However I believe that is was the preparation and lead up to the three weeks which was the most impressive part of the whole exchange – The MATZ, YATZ and staff put all of their passion and drive into raising an amazing amount, which got the amazing 14 students over here.

I was fortunate enough to be elected a Tisamale Event Coordinator (or TEC) along with two other MATZ. We were in charge of certain days and events to organise and we worked really closely with Emma (the YATZ/MATZ coordinator). The four of us became one super team that supported and encouraged each other. TEC really allowed me to develop my skills further and be involved in the exchange program at a deeper level.

TEC contributed over 120 combined hours, on top of the other hours spent with the MATZ team and during the exchange. I’m super proud of our efforts as a team.

Of course there was ups and downs, however it was so worth all the sleepless nights.
