Youth at the Zoo (YATZ) is a program designed for students in Year 9 to Year 12 with a passion for conservation and looking towards a future working with animals and conserving wildlife. YATZ aims to inspire and develop leadership skills, promote conservation locally and globally, while providing a strong youth perspective to the Zoos SA community.

The program immerses young people in experiences relating to animal and conservation leadership skills through camps, workshops and hands-on activities.

The YATZ program is being reviewed while our current YATZ group continue their learning journey and engagement with the Tisamale Too campaign, going through to mid-2019.

YATZ will continue from mid-2019 at which time new YATZ members will also be able to apply.

To get your name on our 2019 YATZ mailing list, fill out the form below. We will contact you in the first half of the year to let you know how to apply.
