Youth at the Zoo – YATZ
Youth at the Zoo (YATZ) is a program designed for students in Year 9 to Year 12 with a passion for conservation and looking towards a future working with animals and conserving wildlife. YATZ aims to inspire and develop leadership skills, promote conservation locally and globally, and add a youth voice and perspective into the Zoos SA community.
Planetkeeper is an action-based program where students learn about and then raise funds for threatened species.
Focus species are; Sumatran Orangutan, Sumatran Tiger and the Sun Bear.

Make a Difference (MAD) – Take action in your school and community
Zoo Learning connects students with nature, inspiring them to become informed and active to help the environment and our precious wildlife. MAD is about building a sense of hope and optimism about our lives for the future.
Taking actions matters! Zoo Learning provides resources and supports ways for your students to become responsible local and global citizens for conservation.We are seeking MAD Ambassadors to join us in a campaign that makes a difference!
