Adelaide Zoo inspires a sense of wonder for animals, bringing learning to life.

Students get up-close to animals and the Zoos unique collection of artefacts and biofacts. Adelaide Zoo learning experiences for Years 4 to 7 are underpinned by themes related to the Australian Curriculum; Science, Geography, Arts, Ethical understandings, Sustainability and Asia.

Overnight experiences

Monarto Overnights provide opportunities for students to have fun, work together and learn about the role Monarto Safari Park plays in conservation. Students will also learn how they can play a part in conservation that makes a real difference. Visit some of the ‘Off Limits’ areas of Monarto Safari Park and get involved in hands-on activities that help the animals, the Keepers and the Safari Park. Students learn about the importance of and the role African National Park Rangers play in protecting habitat and wildlife. Students will have a chance to discover and explore the Indaba Bush Camp and surrounds during night time activities led by the Overnight Educator.
