Keeper Presentations

Zookeepers provide daily animal feeds and keeper talks. This gives visitors the opportunity to interact with a knowledgeable person and learn more about the species.

Sea Lion Feed

11.45 am Monday – Friday.
Includes a Keeper Talk on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Blue and Gold Macaw free-flight presentation
1.00 pm daily.

Hippo pumpkin feed
1:30 pm Thursday

Lions
1:40 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.
Includes a Keeper Talk on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Tigers
2:00 pm daily.

Orangutan
2:30 pm Saturday, Sunday and public holidays

Pelicans
2.30 pm daily.

Penguins
2.45 pm daily.

Australian Rainforest Bird Feed
3.30 pm daily (Australian Rainforest/Wetlands Aviary).

Animals in the Children's Zoo may be fed with animal food, available for purchase in the zoo. There is a total feeding ban in all other areas.
