The Board plays a vital part in overseeing the affairs of the Royal Zoological Society of South Australia and setting the strategic directions for Zoos SA.

Nominations for two positions on this Board have now closed and we’re pleased to announce 4 candidates.

As there are more nominations than vacancies, an election is to be conducted to enable members of the Society to select two Board members from the 4 candidates.

Only financial members of the Society who are 18 years of age or older on 31 August 2024 are eligible to vote.

Information on the candidates can be found here.

Onsite voting will again be the preferred method and will be available for members from 21 September to 5 October 2024.

Members are encouraged to visit the zoo and vote in person using a pre-printed voting slip located at Adelaide Zoo Retail Shop and Minchin House, or at Monarto Safari Park Visitor Centre.

Ballot boxes will be located in each of these areas as per previous years.

The envelope in which you seal your vote will require you to put your member number and name on the back to validate your vote.
