Due to the current COVID-19 case numbers, restrictions in SA and in line with our SA Health COVID Management Plan, Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park have made the difficult decision to pause all Animal Experiences from January 4, 2022.
After receiving advice from veterinary team, we recently reintroduced mask wearing during our encounters. However, COVID-associated deaths have been reported in a number of lions, snow leopards, and beavers in Asia and the United States with primates also vulnerable to the disease and with growing numbers of cases, we felt this is the only decision that will keep the animals safe.
All tickets holders booked between these dates in January will be contacted by our Visitor Services team. Tickets will be automatically changed to an open-dated ticket that will be valid for three years.
