Adelaide Zoo

Home to over 250 species including Australia’s only Giant Pandas, Xing Qui and Yi Lan, Adelaide Zoo is the second oldest zoo in the nation. Visitors turn explorers as they journey through the jungle-like gardens and get up close to native and exotic wildlife from koalas to tapirs, and even giraffe.

Adelaide Zoo’s relaxing green city oasis is located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, just a 15-minute walk to the main shopping precinct of Rundle Mall.

The zoo is a leisurely walk from the Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Convention Centre and North Terrace.

Monarto Safari Park

Explore the wild at the largest safari park outside of Africa!

Home to many of Africa’s most impressive animals and one of Australia’s largest lion prides and giraffe herds, travel through the open plains on a bus tour around the park, hopping on-and-off at the viewing platforms for free keeper talks and animal feeds.
