Spend a wild night at Adelaide Zoo

Highlights:

  • Explore Adelaide Zoo in the afternoon in own groups, incorporating keeper talks.
  • Enjoy a BBQ dinner followed by an animal close-up with an overnight educator.
  • Experience the zoo at night on a private guided walk.
  • Sleep snug in the comfort of indoor classrooms.

  • Wake to the sounds of native and exotic wildlife, followed by breakfast and a special tour before we open to the public.

Details:

  • $88.50 per student (includes zoo admission, BBQ dinner, supper and breakfast)
  • 20 – 30 students plus adult supervisors
  • One adult for every five students at $17 each
  • Additional adults over ratio $110 each
  • Available every week of the school term

Twilight After Dark Discoveries

Foundation to Year 12
Program 5pm-9pm | Arrival between 9.30am-5pm 

Highlights:

  • Develop leadership skills, learn how to observe the natural world in natures cinema or see if you can mimic the skills of animals in our zoo in one of our education programs.
  • Explore the zoo at night on a private guided tour, uncovering the behaviors and habitats of nocturnal animals usually hidden in the day.
  • Get up close and personal with a reptile in a special encounter session.
  • Enjoy a self-catered or catered dinner while soaking in the twilight atmosphere of Adelaide Zoo.

Details:

  • Self-Catered: $55 per student (includes zoo admission, education session, animal close-up, donation to conservation fund and after-dark guided tour).
  • Catered: $65 per student (includes zoo admission, BBQ dinner, education session, animal close-up, donation to conservation fund and after-dark guided tour).
  • Minimum 20 students, maximum 30 students (student numbers over 30 subject to approval).
