The Yellow-footed Rock-Wallaby (Petrogale xanthopus xanthopus) is threatened by habitat and the impact of introduced foxes and goats. In 1996 Zoos SA contributed to a partnership that reintroduced a population of Yellow-footed Rock-wallabies into Aroona Sanctuary in the Flinders Ranges. Zoos SA has maintained its support through regular monitoring and feral animal control at the sanctuary.
