The death of Queen Elizabeth II

The Royal Zoological Society of South Australia is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen was a lover of animals, especially Corgis and horses, and was patron of London Zoo.
We send our thoughts to those of you who are saddened by her passing and, of course, to the Royal Family who will miss her both as a ruler but also a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother (and national treasure).
Zoos SA held a minute’s silence at 12pm on Friday 9 September 2022 for those who wished to honour her majesty’s passing.
Rest in peace Your Majesty.
