At Zoos SA, we are dedicated to fostering connections with nature and providing enriching learning experiences for people of all abilities. With the support of the Mary Mattie Foundation, we are able to offer subsidies for transport and program costs to promote equity and inclusion for eligible schools and groups to access and explore the world’s largest safari park outside of Africa!

School eligibility
Please use this form to apply for a bus subsidy to bring your school/class to Monarto Safari Park to engage in a conservation education program with one of our Educators. Applications must be submitted a minimum of 6 weeks prior to your planned visit.
To be eligible, your school must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Be Category 1 – 3 school or have a disability unit (or learning support unit for student living with a disability)
- Be considered regional or rural by Department for Education guidelines
- Have a high percentage of students that identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
With the submission of the form you will need:
- Two quotes for bus costs
- Your site leader’s approval
Your form cannot be saved, so we suggest typing your answers into a separate document and pasting them into this form when you are ready.
Please note, the Education team are looking to provide bus subsidies to a range of schools and all applications will be considered if you meet the eligibility criteria above. Each submission will be assessed case by case. We encourage you to include as much information as possible to support your application.
