Trichoglossus moluccanus, Rainbow lorikeets are slender medium-sized parrots common along the east coast from northern Queensland to South Australia, in rainforests, coastal bush, woodlands and treed urban areas. They are colourful, active, playful, social birds known for their noisy screeching and chattering calls. Seen as a symbol of playfulness, humour, hope, renewal, liberation, individuality, self-expression and pursuing what nourishes you.
