From Antarctica to the board room, Zoos SA is pleased to announce Tim Jarvis AM as the newest co-opted board member.

The three year position will see Tim play a vital role in shaping the business direction of  Zoos SA.

Zoos SA President, David Sanders, says that Tim’s background in environmental conservation made him the perfect person to strengthen the governance of the board.

“When Bryce Coombe left the board to move interstate late last year, it was an opportune time to reconsider the make-up and strength of the board.”

“We feel that Tim was the natural choice for the co-opted position.  As ambassador for world renowned organisations like WWF, Nature Play and as leader of 25zero, it is clear that Tim’s passions align closely with that of Zoos SA.”

Tim has a long list of achievements which includes but is not limited to being named a Member of the Order of Australia in 2010 Australian honour list for his services to environment, community and exploration.

With his wealth of experience, we are sure he will be a valuable asset to the Zoos SA Board.
