Ethel Wreck at Innes National Park

We set off in the morning heading for our walk, after a short drive we had gotten to the beach, we had three missions for our walk, pick up rubbish, lay fox bait and search for plovers. We set off, binoculars in hand, bags packed with water and snacks, bucket of fox bait and rubbish bags at the ready. Our feet were sinking into the sand as we walked along the 4km beach laying bait every 500 meters and spotting plovers as they run from waves their little legs going so quickly their legs were almost unseen and rubbish that we would pick up on the way back. Once we arrived at the other side of the beach we had a small break then we continued without our bags to the Ethel Wrack, walking in between rock pools and hoping not to get our feet to wet we found the fishbone-like structure of the Ethel wreck. And then we headed back along the soft sand again to pick up the rubbish we spotted.
