Ambassador December Report

The Ambassadors program in December was a time of festivities. It is always an exciting and liberating time when I am able to go to Adelaide Zoo, behind the scenes to help out, but there was something about the month of December that was extraordinarily special about being apart of Ambassadors.
Maybe it was the atmosphere created by the use of Christmas decorations hung throughout the zoo, and the laughter of the kids as they sat on ‘Santa’s chair’ in front of the nursery. Or the feeling of approaching a new year and finishing another year of school, as well as being able to go to the zoo to unwind, distress, but also work hard. It could simply have been the privilege of being apart of the Ambassadors Program and the great benefits that come along with it. Such as spending time with the array of different animals, getting to know the zookeepers and volunteers as well as interacting with the public.
With all these events listed, it has certainly contributed to a great month and I am very excited for the following shifts of Ambassadors that await.
