Ecosystems ‘Amazing Race’ 2019

We gathered as a group and were told very little. We were to head to the museum and wait for further instruction. As we walked we were coming up with an endless amount of ideas of what we could be doing. As we entered through the front doors of the museum we were told to bunch up and listen up.

Waiting in anticipation the excitement and wonder built within the group. Finally we were starting to be told what was going on…it was time for the inaugural amazing race – museum style.

We were split into groups and were given clipboards, a piece of paper with loads of questions and an ecosystem. Our challenge was to complete as many questions as possible in about 2 hours. The questions related to our ecosystem scored higher than other questions, so our group decided that they would be the most important to answer…naturally.
As the groups split up and went in search of the questions, our group headed towards the aquatic areas as our ecosystem was aquatic. The search for our questions was harder than we anticipated.

After 2 hours of searching we had answered all but one question, luckily not related to our ecosystem.
After the questions were marked, the groups were called together to find out the results, we all waited in excitement hoping our group would be crowned winners. Our group ended up finishing second-to-last but it didn’t bother us as we got to bond with other people and had some fun while searching for answers.
