MATZ February MZ Camp

The MATZ piled into the cars and headed for Monarto, keen to get the afternoon started. When we arrived, we started planning for quiz night and made our own pizza’s! Taking down the flags was a little sad, but it reminded me of just how close the exchange was and just how far we’d come. What really had everyone excited though was the skype call with the Zambian students! Despite some initial technical difficulties all of the MATZ 19 had the chance to introduce ourselves and answer questions, and before we knew it half an hour had flown by.
The room was still buzzing even after the call ended, and it re-energized us for a very… very long night ahead. It was 3 am and we’d all started to go a little crazy. There was a Kermit the frog sing along and more than a few dance breaks. Oh man, did we feel that late night in the morning.
